Up to £5k grants for SMEs for energy efficiency projects
The Low Carbon Workspace programme is a grant scheme for SMEs to help reduce energy bills and carbon emissions.
Grants of up to £5k is available for projects to reduce energy use, including:
- Upgrades to heating and cooling equipment,
- LED lighting and controls,
- Energy metering and monitoring equipment
- Voltage optimisation and power factor correction
- Insulation, windows and draft insulation
As with all European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) backed projects, the grants tend to be allocated quickly as there is high demand for them.
The funding is available to all SMEs in the South East of England, except London. This includes Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Milton Keynes, Hampshire and Isle of White, Kent and Medway, Oxfordshire, Surrey and Sussex.
